About Us

Hello! My name is Amy (also known as Mom). My husband and I have two awesome grown children and a wonderful daughter-in-law (all in their 20s), and we all LOVE to travel and discover new places! And while I do love a good adventure, I love a good plan even more! I know that sounds more practical than adventurous, but I feel like if you have a good plan in place before you leave for your trip, you have more time to just enjoy the adventure. As a former English teacher and librarian, research has always been fun to me and so I love the planning process. When planning a trip, I spend a lot of time researching, reading reviews, and planning out itineraries. Many people would find this boring, but I find it quite enjoyable! Due to work and school, my family members do not usually have the time to dedicate to the planning process, so they like just receiving an itinerary with reservations already made! My husband suggested that maybe other people might feel the same. He suggested that I could offer my experience and itineraries on a website of my own. I was skeptical at first, but I realized that there might be a lot of practical advice I could share that isn’t found on most websites--the things you wish you knew before you left for your trip. I call them “mom” tips. And so this website was created. I am not focused on the glitz and glamor (aka Instagram moments) of the trip, but instead hope to offer you practical tips and advice based on my experiences… just as a mom would.
Hey y'all! My name is Maddie (the daughter). I am a retired collegiate volleyball player and a recent college graduate! I love working in content creation and social media marketing. I host a podcast called Interludes Podcast for young women in their 20s trying to figure out how to live as strong Christian women in today's day and age. I have been very blessed over the last 24 years to travel to many different places, ranging from beaches to mountain towns. I will not lie, one of my favorite parts about taking a trip is getting to take lots of pictures and videos for social media. I joined my mom on this adventure of our website to help provide my insights into things I believe would be fun for young adults that Mom might not necessarily think of (like all the cute coffee shops and book store locations)!!!
